Even in this period of pandemic from Covid-19, in our project there are some invaluable actions that must absolutely be carried out in order not to risk nullifying the work done so far. One of these is the topping up of liquid nitrogen in the cryobank containers of the native Mediterranean trout seed, the first and only cryobank in Europe for this species.

Project manager Prof. Nicolaia Iaffaldano of UniMol almost weekly, with due caution and all safety devices, continues to go to the University to check and top up the nitrogen levels in the containers.
