Today Stefano Esposito (MTRG), together with some representatives of Fipsas Isernia, carried out a monitoring action on part of the sites affected by the NatSalMo sowing this winter.
In particular, the group went to the San Nazzaro river, a direct tributary of the Volturno.
In the monitored sites there are essentially two sizes of fry, both class 0+ or juveniles this year. These are sizes referable to the reproduction peaks of the past winter season, that is to those – anticipated – of December and to those – postponed – of the end of February / beginning of March.
Although the actual monitoring will take place around the end of August / early September, the situation looks very encouraging and we expect very good results.
