An exciting adventure in river trekking under the banner of environmental education by NatSalMo the one conducted today by Pierpaolo Gibertoni – Mediterranean Trout Research Group – on the Rio Biola, in the Reggio Apennines.
With a large group of 30 boys aged between 7 and 12, Pier explored the fascinating themes of life in the river and ecology, delving into concepts such as biodiversity, ecological niches, the water cycle, anthropic pressures and concrete actions of mitigation, also describing many of the activities carried out and completed by our project.
