In the third meeting yesterday attended by representatives of the municipalities of the two basins, of the Region, of citizens’ and environmentalist associations. Those present carried out an initial identification of the strategic objectives, highlighting valuable elements (to be protected and enhanced), potentialities and negative aspects, to be eliminated to ensure an increase in the environmental quality of the respective territories. The strategic objectives define the main goals that the two communities intend to achieve and identify the priority guidelines that the two Contracts will have to follow in the next 3 years.

In the second part of the meeting, the participants began to propose possible initiatives and interventions that will make up the Action Plan, the instrument that will contain the set of structural and non-structural measures functional to achieve the objectives defined in the agreement and to start management really sustainable of the two rivers and their tributaries.
